Summer Whites | Babiekins Mag Feature
The aim of the story here is, don’t be afraid to mix and match colours you wouldn’t normally wear. The thing I love about kids’ fashion is that it can be a lot of fun and it really shouldn’t be taken too seriously, after all we are talking about kids here.
I’m going to start off with… I love white and I especially love white on kids, add white leather to that combination and I’m in heaven! Often, most people don’t do white on kids because it means a whole lot of extra washing and that is completely understandable, I HATE any type of domestic chores and doing the laundry is at the very top of my list. However, adding white to an outfit can definitely make a memorable impression, particularly when applied to a formal outfit and my favourite, a tutu! I have two little girls that are absolutely crazy about tutus and as the saying goes, if you can’t beat them join them, so I’ve joined them.
Which brings me to our latest Instagram collaboration with photographer and stylist, Emily Byrom, also known as @gottshot. I’ve been a fan for a while and approached Emily over 6 months ago and I was thrilled that she wanted to work with me also…so excited. This time around I really wanted to do something different and often white on white is usually frowned upon, definitely not something I would normally style but I ran with it anyway. I knew that whatever I sent to Emily, it would be styled to perfection and beautifully photographed and…the result…so amazing!!

My girls love to mix up all sorts of colours and often the result is not too bad … however, there are exceptions to those rules too, I put a stop to anything fluorescent!
How good are the photos?!
